Can I bring pets?
As much as we love fur babies, we don’t allow pets sorry.
Can we have a campfire when we like?
Marion Bay, like most of SA, is extremely dry and strict fire bans apply. Fires aren't allowed on the site in winter sorry, but you can have one on Marion Bay beaches.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking isn’t allowed in your tent, and we’d appreciate you smoking on the road, away from the dry vegetation, and butting out safely, and disposing of your butts.
Is the site private?
Please note that the site is on the back of my dad’s property, behind his 2 story home. The setup is built on the secluded back part of his block, and you’ll have total privacy.
The site is at the end of a cul de sac, and nestled amongst the trees.
What do I need to bring?
Your PJs, a toothbrush, sunscreen, beach towels and your bathers. We do supply mozzie repellent, but also recommend bringing some just in-case.
Is there power on the site?
Yes, there are lights and a powerpoint in the bathroom and kitchen. There are also lamps and a power point in the tent – like we said ‘Glamping’, not camping.
Will I get phone signal?
Mobile phone signal is limited, whilst Telstra and Optus work in the town, Vodafone stops working just after Warooka. Please also note that mobile phone signal does not work in Innes National Park.
Is Bayside Glamping suitable for families?
This glamping setup is only suitable for 2 adults.
Do I need to watch out for any wildlife?
Kangaroos and emus roam freely. Drive slowly, especially at dusk to avoid hitting them.
Snakes are present in summer, and we suggest watching your step and keeping the fly screen of your tent closed at all times; this will also keep out pesky insects.
What time should I arrive?
Check-in time is from 2pm, however, please contact us to see if early check-in is available.
When is the departure time?
Check-out is 10am, please contact us to see if a late check-out is available.
Can I drink the water?
Yes, the whole site runs on rainwater.
